CES 2010 between Jan 7th to Jan 10th of 2010

This year started with great excitement by the 3D movie Avatar ,which has tuned the viewers interest in 3D Television.CES 2010 has also gained viewers interest by launching 3D television. the 2010 Best of CES award was given to the Panasonic TC-PVT25 3D television series.

With the growing interest and demand for the amazon Kindle,This year CES 2010 has got a lot new e-reader’s introduced the in market.

There was a great struggle in the auto industry,Yet to gain the viewers interest most the automobile companies trying their best to improve the in-vehicle technology.Having all your favorites displayed in the dashboard is also a main theme in CES 2010. Toyota Prius featuring its own LTE data connection. A broadband connection enables many features including our tunes of Pandora.

Touch screen,There is big crowd anxiously waiting to know about the tablet or slate .The year ahead will have more products from major consumer tech companies which is coming out with portable,touch-screen and social friendly device called tablet.It will be much compatible than laptop and more user friendly than a smart phone.E-reader’s products will also have great impact due to the evolution of the tablet PC.

James Cameron has created a planet named Pandora which is rich in flora and fauna in the silver screen.Apart from the creatures,the planet has the native

Na’vi a lean, 10-feet tall,3 fingered, blue-striped people with green eyes.Natives also makes a strong bond with thick long trees,six-legged horses and powerful flying beast .Cameron has designed the planet in such way that not only the tribes but the also creatures like gigantic Wolves and hammer-head dinosaurs fights to save their habitability.

The sci-epic is set on Pandora,genetically engineered human-Na’vi bodies are sent to the planet to drive away the native Na’vi with aims to exploit Pandora’s reserves of a valuable mineral called unobtanium, which is under the HomeTree of Pandora.Over the course of time in Pandora, human-navi grows close to Neytiri(Na’vi girl) and the HomeTree and begins to prefer the life he lives through the avatar.Finally he saves the na’vi and planet reserve from the money minded humans.

Technology in filming and effects

Cameron has developed stereoscopic camera for the creation of Avatar.In the previous motion-capture systems, the digital environment is added after the actors’ motions have been captured.

In Avatar, this new virtual camera allows the director to observe and view directly on a monitor how the actors’ virtual counterparts interact with the movie’s digital world in real time which gives option of adjusting and re-take the scenes as needed.

Hype for “cloud computing,” is very high recent days,google has already tasted the success of cloud computing in google mail(First implemented in Gmail) and Google chrome is structured to work with the same cloud computing concept.

Chrome OS loading time highly reduced and also designed with the assumption 90% of the time in spend in the laptop on checking mails,use social networking sites (Facebook and Twitter), trace the maps and so on.

Chrome OS is a smart way for Google to push forward to gain the vendors,who are also limited to use components that google specifies and supports.Google will support,control and maintain the operating system remotely,so offline capabilities of the laptop might be limited.Google is also working to support the offline access(already done for gmail) with google gears and HTML 5.

Finally,Google promises that chrome OS with netbook will provide richer,faster and secure experience of web-based computing.
