Google Voice with Your Lifetime phone number
The Earth has finite limits with nature, but Google has no limits in internet. It might be a revolution in the VOIP (Voice over internet protocol).
Google Voice is an application which can has fine tuned the communications in the world of internet. It is available since 11th March 2009.Grand Central was acquired by Google and renamed as Google voice on July 2007.
Google Voice will manage all your phones (mobiles, Home phone, and work phone)
with one google number. All the calls will be forwarded to one phone. Here fighting against Phone Spam is also made easier online.
Google voice highlights are:-
1. Call US numbers for free.
2. Receive voicemails via email or SMS.
3. Answer an incoming call on any of your phones.(Prefer Landline to avoid money burning service provider)
4. Low-priced international calls.
5. One phone number, forward all your phone (mobiles, Home phone, and work phone) calls to this number
6. Archived text messages you send and receive.
7. Goog-411 directory assistance.
Drawback:–
1. Reciever will not have your google number displayed in the caller ID.
Work around:-
1. Google Voice users should make their Google Voice number appear on the other party’s device, by calling their own Google number, pressing 2, and then entering the number they want to call or by using the web interface to place the call.
2. They can also go to their Google voice account on a computer, click call and type in a number. In that case, Google calls the number with the Google Voice user’s number as caller ID.
Google Voice has been Launched for Android (google phone), Blackberry phone users.
The Google Voice applications for Android and Blackberry smart phones can automatically forward outgoing calls via the user’s Google Voice number instead of the device’s phone number
You can register yourself to get the invites from google for the google voice.
