“Once in a blue moon”….
You must be seeing a full winter moon in the sky today which is the 13Th moon of the year 2009.Hence it is so called a blue moon today.
Why it is so called Blue Moon?
Simple every year will have 12 full moons(One full moon each month) but we are having the 13th moon this year and it occurs rarely.
